C cubed has been actively involved in training and professional development since inception of the Company.

One of its directors, Venkat has travelled across the GCC nations namely Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Sultante of Oman during past 3,4 years and conducted several CPD and workshops related to Contracts and commercial management. Some of the major topics covered are

  • Effective Contract administration using FIDIC rainbow suite
  • Commercial management in Construction
  • Master class on construction Claims
  • Master class on EPC/Turnkey contracts
  • Practical approach to delay and disruption claims
  • Practical Dispute resolution
  • Impact of local GCC Civil code in Construction contracts

In addition, C Cubed had conducted bespoke training sessions for several blue chip companies in order to train their engineers and quantity surveyors to be commercially astute. (Details are confidential)

Also, the Managing director of the Company has taught at Manchester University (formally UMIST) as an external lecturer to cover the Quantity surveying elements of the Building Technology degree for over 150 students.

C Cubed is also involved in professional development by regularly conducting CPD events to prepare the professionals for the RICS chartered membership. This includes mentorship, training and counselling to aspiring candidates and as of today, the directors are involved in APC counselling of 5 or 6 candidates. Similarly Venkat is currently administering the arbitration diploma course (Module 1) conducted by Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London.

Venkat has been invited to provide guest lectures at British University in Dubai and Indian Institute of Technology, Chennai for the PG students in construction law/management and dispute resolution.
